Solar Panel Clean

At Extra Hand Solar Clean, we take pride in providing top-notch, environmentally friendly cleaning services for solar panels. Recently, we completed a project in Kirrawee, where we successfully cleaned 16 solar cells using our specialised chemical-free and spot-free cleaning method.

For this task, we utilised our unique carbon fibre extendable pole, which allowed us to clean the solar panels from ground level. This exceptional tool extends almost 10 meters and includes a pressurised water line within it. We began by pumping pure water from our onboard water filtration system, up through the brush attached to the pole. The untreated water, initially sourced from a regular garden tap, underwent a rigorous three-stage filtration process.

Our filtration system is highly effective, reducing the dissolved solids in the water to less than 1 part per million. In contrast, typical home water supplies from the tap contain about 80 parts per million of dissolved solids. This purification process is crucial for achieving a spot-free, mirror-like finish on the solar panels, as the ultra-pure water leaves no residues or streaks.

The equipment we used for this project included a three-stage water filtration system, the extendable carbon fibre pole, a 100-meter hose reel for extensive reach, and an electric generator to power our operations. These tools allowed us to efficiently and effectively clean the solar panels, ensuring they were free of dirt and grime.

The result was outstanding. The solar panels, now spotless and gleaming, not only look visually appealing but also operate at maximum efficiency. By removing all dirt and grime, we have enhanced their performance and energy output.
